 In pursuance of DHE letter No. DHE/CE/Misc/49/2021/Pt/5 dtd. 09-02-2022, applications are invited in the format prescribed by the DHE, Assam with complete bio-data and all testimonials from H.S.L.C onwards from eligible candidates for filling up the following vacant sanctioned posts of Assistant Professor.

1. Education               : 02 (Two) post, RP- 03 & 04 for UR.
2. Economics              : 01 (One) post, RP- 10, Reserved for ST(H).
3. History                   : 01 (One) post, RP- 15, Reserved for ST(P).
4. Political Science      : 01 (One) post, RP- 25, Reserved for ST(P).

Educational qualification and selection procedure will be as per Govt. OM No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022. The candidates must have proficiency in local language. The candidates in service must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the competent authority. The age of the candidate must not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2022. with relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for ST/SC/ST(H) candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Applications must reach the undersigned within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement with all supporting documents along with a non-refundable Bank Draft of Rs.1500/- (Rupees One thousand Five Hundred) only drawn in favour of  Principal, S.M.D College, Charing payable at Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Charing Branch. Application with incomplete documents would be summarily rejected. Interview schedule will be uploaded in the college website www.smdcollegecharing.edu.in.

N.B. : For the post of Assistant Professor in Education candidate must mention the Roster Point
